Bought a book and finished it? Not sure what to do with it? If you have read it, then swap it!

This year we are hosting a Book Swap Shop in our Crane Room. Drop in and pay a visit to the swapping station with any of your old or unwanted books, then exchange them for new titles that you haven’t read before. Feel inspired to read something you wouldn’t normally pick up, or take the chance to have a good clear out.

Any books still on our shelves at the end of the festival, will be donated to the Oxfam Bookshop in Cranleigh High Street.

Free event with donations to the Arts Centre welcome.

All children, except one, grow up…

Captured in front of a live audience at the National Theatre, a recorded performance of JM Barrie’s much-loved tale screens in cinemas this summer.

When Peter Pan, leader of the Lost Boys, loses his shadow, headstrong Wendy helps him to reattach it. In return, she is invited to Neverland, where Tinker Bell the fairy, Tiger Lily and the vengeful Captain Hook await. A riot of magic, music and make-believe ensues.

A delight for children and adults alike, Sally Cookson (NT Live: Jane Eyre) directs this wondrously inventive production, a co-production with Bristol Old Vic theatre.
